(St. Louis, Mo., April 8, 2025) – Boone Center, Inc. (BCI)—an organization that empowers people with disabilities through employment opportunities—is currently accepting applications for a free, four-week summer camp. The experience is designed for high school students with disabilities interested in manufacturing and will be held at the Lewis & Clark Career Center, 2400 Zumbehl Rd, St. Charles, MO 63301.

Thanks to a generous grant from SparkForce, the charitable foundation of the Fabricators and Manufacturers Association, the camp will run weekdays from July 14 to August 8, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to noon. The camp is limited to 15 participants.

The experience will offer a blend of instructor-led lessons and hands-on activities, along with field trips to local manufacturing firms for immersive learning experiences. Participants will then apply their new skills to create a capstone project.
